Alison and Stuart just warmed up to the bigger waves this trip, but they were still clearly cautious.
One of their favorite activities this trip was flying their new kite. Heather introduced us to a kite shop and kite style that is impossibly easy to fly. Stuart and Alison love it.

My mom invited us on a last minute trip to Newport Beach last fall and we maximized the fun! We had such a nice time visiting with family, relaxing in warmish (compared to Utah) weather, and going to Disneyland. This is a four generation picture with my mother and Grandpa Richard. He made us a lovely dinner in his home.
Aunt Glenna and Uncle Steve let us stay at their house for a few nights. Of course, the kids thought it was paradise with a heated pool in the backyard and wore themselves out, several times.
Eliza Claire loved all the extra people loving her. 
I’m so pleased to announce that I became an aunt again last month. He’s the sweetest baby and is just months younger than our Liza. We feel so blessed to live close to this new arrival and his beloved parents (and dog). Congrats (again) Hank and Katie. You guys are doing marvelous.
